Traffic Calming Block Party

Well I spent the day in the sun at the Traffic Calming Block Party sponsored by Vox Pop and Sustainable Flatbush. I got my bike tuned up for free, which now rides like a dream. Drank lots of water, hung out with friends, listened to live music and watched the fire lady dance. And hopefully all of this may help to bring a traffic light to the threatening corner of Stratford and Cortelyou. Other then my short blurb, I will let the pictures tell the story.

About bzeines

I am an artist, musician and founding parent of the Brooklyn Free School in Park Slope. These blogs are the sole responsibility of its creator and do not reflect on the communities I intend to speak to. The Free School Apparent focuses on Free School philosophy, a venue for parents to voice doubt or accolades on free school philosophy and conversations about education in general. It also ventures into the territory of how industrialized education has impacted our lives, and the possible steps we may take to obtain control.
